New Family~ Denmark x Sad! Scared! Abused! Child! Reader Ch. 1 

Your POV

"This is all your fault!" *smack* "you should never have been born!" Again and again you were hit. Your mommy watched as your daddy hit you. Repeatedly, over and over again. You sat there in tears. "I'm sorry daddy!" Another smack. "Shut up!" You didn't know what you did wrong. But up until a few days ago you were a happy four year old. Now you sat there as your daddy beat you. And mommy watched. "Help, mommy." You looked at her with pleading eyes. She got up and walked over to you. You thought she came to help. Instead she smacked you. "Worthless child." She muttered and walked out of the room.

Later that night you laid in bed. Your were sore from your beating. You wanted to leave. You didn't want to be hit anymore. So when mommy and daddy went to sleep. You snuck out. You started running, far away from your home. When you stopped, looking around you didn't know where you were. You had stopped in front of a big house. You stumbled to the front door. Ringing the doorbell you suddenly felt dizzy. Before passing out you saw the door open, and with blurred vision, an outline of a person. Then everything went dark. 

Finland's POV

I was resting on the couch when the doorbell rang. "Who could it be at this time of night?" I walked over to the door and opened it only to see a little girl. She looked very thin and was covered with cuts and bruises. Who would do that to a young girl? Poor thing. I took her inside the house and laid her on the couch. I cleaned her cuts and prepared some food for her.

Your POV

When you woke up you saw an unfamiliar ceiling. You looked around. A few moments later a man came in holding a hot bowl of soup. He seemed nicer than mommy and daddy. "Who are you? Where am I?" You asked the unfamiliar man, your voice hoarse. "I'm Tino." He smiled. "You must be hungry. Here, eat." He held a spoonful of soup and brought it to your lips. You slowly opened your mouth and let the warm delicious soup go down your throat to fill your belly. "Thank you Mister Tino." When you finished the soup you felt very tired. Tino put a blanket over you and you fell asleep.

*Next Morning*

Denmark POV

I woke up to another bright day. When I went down to the kitchen to eat I saw a little girl sleeping on the couch. Wait? A little girl?! Who had a kid? I ran upstairs and bathed into Lukas's room. "Lukas there's a little girl on the couch!" He threw his alarm clock at me. "Your too loud." I held my forehead. "Ow. Geez you didn't need to do that. Anyway someone must've had a kid or something." I went back to the girl. She looked peaceful while she slept. Then I saw her arms. Covered in cuts and bruises. 'What happened to her?' Berwald came downstairs. When he saw the girl he raised an eyebrow. "Why is there a girl?" He asked. "I don't know." He shrugged his shoulders. Tino came into the room yawning. "I'm glad she's okay." He said quietly to himself. "Are you the one who brought her here Tino?" He nodded. "Yes, I found her collapsed in front of the house last night." I looked down at the girl. Her eyes started to open slowly. She looked up at me half asleep. It was cute. 

Your POV

When you woke up you saw a man with really strange hair staring down at you. You were still half asleep when you reached up and touched his face. He smiled softly. "Who are you?" You asked sleepily. He seemed to get really energetic. "I'm Mathias!" He grinned widely. You giggled. You never met someone so silly. Another man came into the room. Mathias shouted. "Goooood morning Lukas!" Lukas hit Mathias on the head. "Oww..." When Lukas finally noticed you he walked up to you and kneeled down. "Is that the girl Mathias was talking about?" Mathias responded loudly. "Yep that's the one!" Lukas hit him on the head again. "Your too loud." Tino announced when Emil came down. After meeting all these new people your tummy growled. Tino laughed quietly. You blushed holding your tummy. "I'll go make breakfast." Tino then went to the kitchen to make food. Then Berwald, Lukas, and Emil started talking to each other in a language you didn't understand. Denmark was talking to you. "So how did you end up here?" You looked down. "Mommy and daddy were hitting me for being a bad girl and then made me go to bed without food. I didn't like it. So I left mommy and daddy." "Is it normal for my mommy and daddy to hit me?" Mathias looked at you sadly. "No it's not." You didn't understand. "Then why do mommy and daddy hit me?" Mathias stroked your hair softly. "I don't know." "I'm a bad girl. A very bad girl. I left without mommy and daddy's permission." Mathias hugged you. "You don't have to worry about that anymore. Your new home is here." You looked up at Mathias. "Really?" He smiled. "Yes." You were happy. You didn't want to go back to mommy and daddy. Thy would be really mad at you now. You were clinging to Mathias when Tino walked in. "Guys, food is ready!" It seemed Tino realized something. "I just realized I never asked your name. " You looked up at Tino. "(F/n)" You mumbled shyly. Mathias looked at you. "(F/n). So that's your name. XD haha! I can't believe I didn't think to ask!" After telling them your name you watched as they went to the dining room to eat. Mommy and daddy always made you wait till they ate first. And you got leftovers sometimes, but lot of the time there was nothing left so you didn't get to eat much. You hoped there would be more food since there were more people. You sat on the couch waiting. Tino noticed you were missing from the table and came back to check on you. "What are you doing (f/n) why don't you come eat with us?" You looked up. "Mommy ad daddy said I can't eat until they're done and I get whatever they don't eat." Tino looked sadly at you. "Well you can eat your own full meal with all of us. So come on." Tino held a hand out to you. You took his hand and followed him to the table. You sat next to Mathias. You took a bit if food and took a bite. You savored the flavor of real food. You licked your lips and took another bite and then another till the food was all gone. You never knew food tasted so good. After eating you were watching tv with Mathias on the couch. You were sleepy after eating so much. Your eyelids grew heavy and you began to fall asleep. You were lying on the couch with Mathias, he started dozing of as well. Tino came in and saw you and Mathias sleeping. It was cute to see the crazy Dane sleeping with a young girl on his chest.

*Time skip a few hours later*

Denmark POV

When I woke up I saw (f/n) was still sleeping. She looked adorable. She doesn't have a room yet does she? I went to ask Tino where she would sleep. "Well she seems to be very fond of you. I think she should sleep in your room till we get her own room set up. I nodded. I went back to (f/n) and put her in bed. Then I got in next to her and fell asleep. 

*a few weeks later*

Your POV

You were walking in the park with Mathias. Holding his hand and swinging your arm back and forth. "You were happy living in your new home. And happy living with the five Nordics. "Hey Brother?" you looked up at Mathias. You didn't know when it started but somewhere in the time you've lived with the guys you started calling them your brothers. They didn't seem to mind. "Yes (f/n)?" You pointed towards and ice cream truck. "Can I have some ice cream? Please?" Mathias looked at you and laughed. "Of course! What flavor do you want?" "(ic/fl)!" He smiled. "Alright." "Can I get one (ic/fl) ice cream please?" After getting the ice cream, Mathias handed it to you. "Thank you Brother!" You smiled happily and licked your ice cream. You never tasted it before. Mommy and daddy never let you eat it. You held up your ice cream to Mathias. "You can have some too Brother!" He smiled and took a bite. "Thank you (f/n)." He ruffled your head, messing up your hair slightly. The rest of the day went on with you playing with Mathias and feeling happier than you'd ever been. You hoped the happiness would last forever. But you didn't realize that something bad was about to happen to you that would end the happiness. At least for a while.
